Accounting & Tax Services for Small Business

Arpana Patel specialises in Accounting Services for Small Business. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a full member of both CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants coupled with her Finance qualifications, Arpana also holds a Marketing Diploma, is an internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and holds a certificate for Leadership and Management.
After starting her career as a graduate accountant with a multi-national publishing company, Arpana moved into an in-house accounting role as a Finance Manager with a multinational manufacturing company with global operations.
Arpana is the founder and director of Avenue Accounting Solutions. She believes that an accountant should not be restricted to just attending routine paperwork but be involved with business owners in coaching them to improve their business practices. This is why she has chosen to only work with small businesses, to educate and guide small business owners in creating their wealth. Arpana was a stay home mum for 5 years, she decided to establish her own accounting practice in 2014 specialising in small business.
Arpana’s extensive expertise includes tax planning, investment strategies and wealth creation along with tax compliance and financial coaching.

Heena Kalyan

BCom (Auditing) CA

Heena holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree and is a member of The Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Heena began her career working for Global professional services organisation Ernst & Young (EY) working as an auditor for 5 years. She also worked for multinational investment bank and financial services company Deutche Bank as a Management Accountant.
Heena works closely with small business owners to provide an analytical view on management accounts and assist them with daily bookkeeping. Her insights assist business owners to make efficient and effective business decisions.
She is highly skilled in Xero, MYOB and Quick Books accounting packages and provides onsite or offsite training to small business owners. An eye like an Eagle, Heena can assist business owners in analysing the management accounts and variances in the books. Heena enjoys attending the gym, watching movies and reading.

Arpana’s fervour for fostering financial literacy and empowering small businesses is at the core of her mission. She is dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs with the tools to seize control of both business and personal finances. Her perspective on accounting transcends the mundane confines of routine paperwork; instead, she champions a proactive role in coaching business owners toward enhanced practices.
In 2022 following her long overdue passion, Arpana introduced the Knowledge Assist membership  program – a platform designed to educate and enlighten small businesses across critical aspects: Finances, Sales and Marketing, Team Building, Technology and Systems, and Business Mindset.
